What is the ratio for trolling tubing worm with lead core. I've heard 10 feet out = 1 foot down, didn't know if that was right.

Each color will get you down 5 - 6 ft, depending on wind & current conditions!

And length of leader and weighting of the tube too.

its usually easy to tell if you let too much out because you hit the bottom. usually the question is "do I have enough out?"
