My girlfriend recently moved to RI and we were walking the cliff walk yesterday afternoon.
Does the cliff walk close at night? is there parking in the area? and what is the general acceptance of fishermen in the area. i noticed there were a few "paths" that went down to the water and there were people swimming in several places along the rocks.
im not looking for any spots just a general idea of fishing that area if its allowed and the feeling of the neighbors and peoples feeling of climbing down the cliffs to get to the water. I know korkers and other safety gear are a must on those rocks.
I fish probably 99% in the deep night so would hate to get back to where my vehicle was and have it missing or with a ticket.
thanks in advance for any help.

Parking - forget about it. They'll tow. You could surely walk it though and fish...

If you drive down Ocean Dr. you'll see a little sign marking a fishing area on the left between Hazards private beach and Brenton Point state Park. Bring a good light cause its very rocky. There is plenty of parking there but watch out last time I went the Fu#*?in scuba divers were all over not caring if you were fishing.:rocketem:
