Opinions needed for best week-end for bass in Sept, Oct. I won't be fishing the derby. PM's welcome.

For bass, I'd consider the first or second week of Oct and fish the north shore deep in the night. Good luck with access, however :( .

Here is how I would guess for dates:

False Albacore- 3rd week of September
Bonito- 1st week of October (use bait)
Bass/ Blues - 2nd week October

Speculation depends on the weather and presence of bait
