I thought it was nothing but then Wednesday I was having a lot of pain . I went and had it diagnosed yesterday and it will take about 3 weeks to heal ? hopefully ! So Im out of action until the 15th of June , cause no matter what Im going to cutty ! just wanted to keep everyone on the same page .

Scotch Bonnet 05-21-2002, 03:44 PM Been there, done that. Theres no doubt after seeing that ex-ray that humans come from apes. Looks like Darwin was right. Too bad we still don't have those tails, could come in handy in certain situations.......

Raven 05-26-2002, 05:28 AM CHRIS I HAVE EXPERIENCED THAT AND WAS ON CRUTCHES FOR WEEKS... THE BEST THING TO HAVE IS A DONUT PILLOW TO FLOAT YOUR TAILBONE IN THE AIR....,OK? ,THEY'RE SOLD EVERYWHERE.
NUMBER TWO: IS " LIDOCAINE PATCHES" THEY ARE PEEL AND STICK AND WHEN USED IN COMBINATION WITH ORAL MEDS WORK WONDERS FOR RELIEF....UP YOUR CALCIUM INTAKE AND ALL YOUR HEALING VITAMINS AS IN A, E, C, FOR A SPEEDY RECOVERY.... GET WELL........ RAVEN  :

chris L 05-28-2002, 01:54 PM well I went trout fishing Monday ( different river ) Did well , not much pain for the 1.25 hour ride . So a Mass road trip wont be unbearale . 15 minutes in to fishing and I slip on my ass again . I sit in the wet mud for a few minutes and I get up all is fine . I catch 8 trout from 1.5 to 3 #s to make it all worthwhile . So Im back !!!!!!!!! bring on cutty and its rocks Im ready and stupid !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks to everyone for their thoughts and kind words .
Saltheart 05-30-2002, 07:25 PM Sorry to hear it Chris.
let me tell you a story. back when I played hockey I landed on my tailbone and got up ok and sore the next day like you. Ignored it and played the next day. went down on it again and had to crawl off the ice. Laid me up for a month.
No sense in losing half the season. Be sure you are ready before you push it.
