:kewl:

If there is a better time of year, I don't know what it is.

I don't know what floats your boat but September has it...

Albies
Blues
Bass
Bonito
Fluke
Tog
Tuna
Scup
Squid
Spanish mac
King macs
Big game or ultra light
Offshore action
Inshore action
Topwater action
tidal pond action
clamming
Crabbing
Scallop season kicks off (months with 'R')
Swimming
Surfing
Sailing
Or just walking on the beach holding hands with your wife looking for seaglass.

September is the month where you get that "it is great to be alive" feeling almost every day, even when the weather turns downright nasty, you just don't mind it in september. In fact, you welcome it. Fewer yahoos and tourists, lower humity, comfortable ocean water and sea breezes, great sleeping weather, almost everything is open yet no crowds. Oh yeah did I mention the fishing is pretty good to boot. Every September you get a few spectacular days offshore that are just well...spectacular, I can't wait. By far my favorite month, no question. If there was one month to have year round, September would get my vote.

Don't sit at your monitor....get outiside and enjoy this time of year.

I am ready for the fall,
fresh line...check
lures organized... check
leaders tied...check
Land and sea vehicles preped and ready to go...check
Cast nets ready...check.
boat gear checked and ready...check
fly rods ready...check
surf gear ready...check
spare surf gear ready...check

See you in the suds, I'll be the guy with sea spray and a grin on his face who looks like he needs some serious sleep.:hee:

Inspiring and I agree totally.
As far as the "yahoos" there will be one camera sporting yahoo and his family there very soon. Tourist by day, bass stalker by night!
