You got one of those new plastic milk crate bags. Flaptail 09-02-2006, 09:17 PM shades of Manzi-itis. Remember you can only fish one at a time and 9 times out of ten only one is working. I bought a single row bag. Best move I ever made. Forces you to go with the known fish killers and saves on the shoulders and back. 4 needles, one popper, one danny, two minnows. done deal. Tagger 09-02-2006, 09:21 PM You got one of those new plastic milk crate bags. Yea ... was thinking of setting up a two wheeler . and fish wearing a ups uniform ..:uhoh: Slipknot 09-02-2006, 11:09 PM not too much to me. nobody stuffs a bag as full as me, just ask clammer. I learned from manzi wait till you see me at cutty wish I knew you were planning to head all the way out here to the end, I would have told you to save your gas money :( depressing this weekend. NIB 09-02-2006, 11:18 PM I usually put too many in my bag an thro 2 or 3 lures all night. It's not like it's the same ones everynight it's the ones that the conditions warrant.Things can change within the course of a night. So I like to cover all the bases.u never know. I will usually add something new,or a custom someone gave me. An give it a few cast's so I can say ya I fished it. Skitterpop 09-02-2006, 11:35 PM shades of Manzi-itis. Ahhhh Will power :tooth: I keep telling myself when I prepare a plug trip.... then in the last moments squeeze another Plano box in with butwhatifjustmaybeIneedthese..... but I`m getting better.... sometime I`ll go with just five or six baits....sometime Charlie G 09-03-2006, 10:08 AM Way to many plugs in that bag. Take a few out and you can ship them down here .:humpty: I still have room for a few more MAC's in my bag. ProfessorM 09-03-2006, 10:18 AM Must look like a barrel of monkeys when you take one out and they are all attached to each other. P. In The Surf 09-03-2006, 11:12 PM I see room for one more CAL 09-03-2006, 11:36 PM ok Ed, tell the truth....what else do you carry in that back pack I saw you carrying?:smash: I saw him out there in the rocks a few times with so many bags I thought he was gonna camp there for a week :bl: Rappin Mikey 09-04-2006, 07:08 PM Thank God I was there to take a couple of those off your hands. That white pencil with the silver belly literally caught me a fish within a few seconds of tying it on! Oh just to make you guys jealous I scored that sick purple pencil too.:D Thanks Mac! eastendlu 09-04-2006, 09:06 PM You use a plug bag like that in montauk to knock the googs of the rocks, one swing and kpow in the water they go .:uhoh: :tooth: MikeTLive 09-04-2006, 09:36 PM "Yeah...I always carry this much %$%$%$%$ ...in my bag...You never know when you may have to jam..." <<<NAME THAT MOVIE!!!! (and dont cheat!)>>> I have way too much crap but since I am a crappy fisherman I dont know what I really need. I will say that my only keepers have been on mack and clam chunks on big hooks. I have had luck once with plugs -- looked at a spot on the canal and decided that a grey/silver mambo was the way to go. then I worked it for about 10 minutes, watching it swim in towards me and watching as the schoolies followed it right up to me. I kept working it till I figured out what to do to hook one. What I want is to weed my bag down to bare essentials and learn precicely when, where and how to use them. CAL 09-05-2006, 03:39 PM "Yeah...I always carry this much %$%$%$%$ ...in my bag...You never know when you may have to jam..." <<<NAME THAT MOVIE!!!! (and dont cheat!)>>> Breakfast Club STREETFIGHT 09-05-2006, 03:48 PM i thought i was doing my back a favor when i bought a single row at the end of june.... after this weekend i'll never carry less than "50 lbs" again. the problem wasnt necessarily the amount (lack) of plugs but all the "extras" that i can't fit in the smaller bag..... box of teasers, casting eggs, leader wallet, bunker snaggers and the list goes on..... jim sylvester 09-05-2006, 04:02 PM mac that bag kills me looking at it I don't know how you do it :musc: MAC 09-05-2006, 04:15 PM mac that bag kills me looking at it I don't know how you do it :musc: It isn't too bad. I wear carpenters bags at work all day and they weigh more than the plug bag. I do get the "barrel of monkeys" effect as the night wears on. I am going to Cutty this weekend and started to fill my BIG bag (carries 4 or 5 large plano boxes) That bag gets heavy. Still undecided on bringing it or just stuffing this one again.:hihi: vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2025, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
