fishaholic18 09-06-2006, 03:27 PM For Clammers trailer.
Can any of you guys make one?
It has to be stainless or galv. steel.
It has to be 6"X3"
with 4 holes for C-clamps.
Holes are 1 3/4" apart and 4" apart.
I'll try to draw a pic to post.
Thanx

Raven 09-06-2006, 06:41 PM A friend a mine has some left over stainless steel tool box
plate he really doesnt want....which came to mind and
the piece is 3" x 24" or around those measurements... :kewl:
striprman 09-06-2006, 06:59 PM I'd let ya use the one in my head, but I kinda need it:conf: :conf: :conf: :smash: :wavey:
Raider Ronnie 09-06-2006, 07:15 PM Took a look what I had for stock!
I have some galvi that would work, though it's 1/4 thick but think it's enough for what you need, and I would need to cut to size and when galvi is cut, the edges will be bare metal exposed and I would have to brush some galvi primer to protect it, but not a big deal!
I just called a friend who I get stock from and he thinks he may have some stainless that may work and will call me tomorrow when he looks through his shop!

fishaholic18 09-06-2006, 11:32 PM Yeah Ron, see the pics of what's on there now?
Sh!tty setup, I want the clamps to be above and below the crossmember so I can crank them up tight. The way it is now sux and u can't get the clamps tight enough, just bends the plate. 1/4" should do it. Let me know. If u need a template, I'll draw one and post a pic of it.

It's a V-bar thet holds the bow up off the trailer.
The way it is now, the bar keeps sliding down.
Do the measurements make sense Ron?
