Im a new guys on here (so please dont murder me with this post lol) I have been fishing on and off for a while now. I have gotten serious in the last year. I am a frequent canal fisherman. I usually use sluggos and the storm shads mostly in the canal. I just wanted to know if there are any other great plastics that I can buy and that are effective? I usually end up buying a bunch of stuff and wasting money and have no luck when using them. I was wondering if you guys can lead me in the right track?? Also what colors are more effective with the sluggos?
Thanks Fellas

in the canal, ure better off using an atom plug for a plastic. they make several models such as their swimmer, popper, and others. however, for the canal i would say get some nice wood plugs. darters, pencils, danny swimmers, poppers, and many more. the wood tends to get out a little further than the plastic stuff just cause its ussualy more dense. hope this helps. the color thing is a whole nother story. ussually lighter colors in the day and darker at night. make up any combo u want :usd:
