anyone know where i can find info on how to rebuild my transom. I recieved a quote from a professional of $2000, so I think I may want to tackle the job myself and save the money, but I'm not to firmilliar with the how to. Also has anyone herd of a pourable transom repair from Seacast. I'm considering giving that a try. If anyone else is interested the website is transomrepair.com. Any feedback or info would be greatly appreciated.:thanks:
There is a lot of good info on the Seacraft website

Great info on Classicseacraft.com and Classicmako.com just use the search feature and budget a couple days just for reading - thousands of threads
Most stuff I have seen on the Seacast "Pourable" transom has people redoing it within a year in wood or composites... Just does not last.
2K for a transom redo is not too bad. I wonder if / where they were cutting corners...
