made this w/ the albies in mine..

only weighs .6 oz (wish it was heavier, but I couldnt fit anymore lead in it.

Just an idea I had - its goin for a swim it today..

hopefully it Dahts

screws...they are about 1" long..the main reason I couldnt fit much lead.

my 1st darter I've made...the next ones will have to be a bit larger

I just hope this one darts or swims...I'll see after work today.

experiments are fun

I Use epoxy/screws on my darters. I can't seem to through drill 7" rock maple. I hung from one and bounced up and down (200lbs). They ain't pulling out.

testit today..goes like :poke:, no good. it corkscrews %& swims funny (nose high)) more expiriments..

gotta make a bigger one...f$*$ (one...f@*$) the albies *small s@I$ *little wood* im just gonna make bigguns from now on.

Thanks Canalman, I'll give that a try.

Dave told me next tiem to place the weight more towards the front on darters too..

I heard they are tough to get to go right.

its all a learning process.....only my 1st one (darter)

I enjoy Trial and Error, just wish I could make em faster!
(no lathe, all hand carves)

you might try movin the screw eye back a bit
