I hear ya MAC.. 80's and my bag phone.. roaming charges.. She was a rescue worker at ground zero on 9/11 and everyone used her cell looking for people. She had been rushed in from Albany and her phone worked whereas the NY city phones weren't. My daughter never told me. Most companioes were really fantastic to all the rescue workers. I ran up a bill close to $500 for the month, I called and bitched to them because my wife uses 0 minutes most months and they won't let me share the minutes, and the girl dropped the bill down to $250.00 I changed from the plan I had that should never see a bill over $75.00 a month, that allows me to talk with anyone with another Nextel/sprint (most of my calls ) for free! I'de lost without the 2way feature as I use it all the time !!!
