How did opening day (archery deer) go for everybody? I fell down on the hike out and that was the most action I saw all day. Same for a few other hunters I know. At least I didn't go to work:grins: Cold this morning huh?

Had a fisher cat that would not leave my area. I loved just watching him run around.

i had to work but as soon as i got home i jumped into my scentlock and stalked a field.. didnt have the time or the light to get to one of my stands.. i could have shot a few squirrels but deer...i didnt get any of those flea-bags to walk by me

Sat one of my stands on the farm and saw to skippers playing all morning. Came out to the truck and there are 12 thats right TWELVE deer in the field by the farm house. The girl renting the place came over and said I should have stayed in the truck as they all came out at 9:10 and walked past the truck to the field. So today I came out at 9:00 and here they come at 9:15 same spot she said they came from yesterday. Whent back after lunch and hung another stand to cut them off . Now if the rain will just stop.:wiggle:
