quick decision

I was fishing a popular pier in Quincy today and somebody walked away with my tacklebox. I had 150.00 worth of plugs in it. It was around 1:30. I think it was a old man. I am not 100 percent sure though.

Crap happens I guess. afterhours 10-21-2006, 07:20 AM theives suck- period. used to carry a bunch of stuff in the truck- not any more, if i can't carry it it stays home. same with plug bags- always on shoulder or on belt- freekin' sad state of affairs! maybe if we catch and hang a few of them things will get better.:humpty: riverrat55 10-21-2006, 08:58 AM Sorry about your lost!!! I always have my name, address and phone# in my tackle box just in case I forgot it somewhere or someone else takes it by mistake!!! At least you have a chance of getting it back!!! leptar 10-21-2006, 09:18 AM What did you loose exactly? Don't put your name on your gear... just a simple if found please return to blah blah blah shop or to the blah blah police station... Putting your name, address puts a whole new spin... if some POS was to take it from your vechicle whats to stop them from ringing your door bell.... Young Salt 10-21-2006, 10:10 AM I always have my name, address and phone# in my tackle box just in case I forgot it somewhere or someone else takes it by mistake!!! At least you have a chance of getting it back!!! i agree with leptar.......if you do that, you risk giving your your name, address and Phone # to the thief so he can go nail your home if he wants. not likely as this is more crime of opportunity, but you would still worry in the back of your mind. riverrat55 10-21-2006, 11:13 AM That's why I have a dog!!! She is on duty 24 hours a day!!! :spidey: In The Surf 10-21-2006, 12:13 PM That sucks, hope it wasn't your only bag and all your plugs. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2025, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
