9' in spinning.. thinking of a batson 1088 or a all-star 1087... tossing eels and plugs to around 3oz...

rod is going to have a VSB150 and mostly used with mono.

1088 is also a fantasic plugging rod.

I have an All Star 1087. I'd be a little careful of throwing 3 oz on it.
