tattoobob 10-23-2006, 11:00 PM That is some type of Pencil popper, not sure of the maker?
Maybe Christian can tell us
Diamond Tackle 10-23-2006, 11:24 PM Nice ! Glad u guys are seeing some action .
Flaptail 10-24-2006, 05:52 AM Looks like a Gibbs Pro Series pencil popper in Pogie. Nice job guys I am jealous. I am home sick as a dog last two days wish I felt better to get out.
The Iceman 6 10-24-2006, 07:41 AM I like the greenie 704 too....
tattoobob 10-24-2006, 07:42 AM I would also like to be out today but if I don't do the few things that my wife asked me to I won't be fishing all week. I hope you feel better soon

Saltheart 10-24-2006, 08:02 AM Fall schoolie fishing , what a ball. I love to do it with surface plugs , preferably poppers.
Congrats on the fish. He sure looks happy and satisfied.
MarshCappa 10-24-2006, 08:57 AM Nice day! My "go to" popper is experiencing the same issue as well.
Sluggoslinger 10-24-2006, 09:39 AM Hey Christian,
What kind of plug is that you have in the pic. It looks great!
Swimmer 10-24-2006, 12:45 PM Even before I read all the other posts I wanted to know what plug that was also. Good to see Christian on the beach. Tattoobob it sucks being laid off huh?
tattoobob 10-24-2006, 01:19 PM Ya it is really killing me :wid:
Christian 10-25-2006, 02:50 AM its a gibbs pro. caught probly 500 fish on that in the past week. thats the 3rd new set of trebs ive put on it.
Christian 10-25-2006, 02:52 AM ps. if you see that slick in the background, thats running the length of the beach....those are all fish. if you stand on top of your car all you see is a wall.
Flaptail 10-25-2006, 07:46 AM Gibbs Pro series are great fish catchers especially that Pogie color, got a bunch of those and as a matter of fact got one rigged on the Lommis right now. It swims great and does just what a Pencil Popper should, no splits or anything like that. The pogie color does rule.
Good choice Christian!
tattoobob 10-25-2006, 07:04 PM ps. if you see that slick in the background, thats running the length of the beach....those are all fish. if you stand on top of your car all you see is a wall.
