I just did the math using the length x girth x girth method assuming 60 inches long with a 30 inch girth - the formula would put the fish at 67.5 pounds. Pure assumption - I haven't seen the fish and do not know the dimensions. Just speculating - WOW... Nice Job Warren :btu:

Ok, the wait is over. Had to have a little fun, rough day at the office. Should of rolled this out on April fools day but who would of believed.

Just wanted to give everyone some inspiration for the home stretch, This fish swims in my mind every night and keeps me going.

Some day for real!

Being a fisherman with rituals and such I said that to JohnR last night, I probably put a hex on myself for ever.

hopefully no one has hard feelings, just a little something to give everyone a laugh. :laugha: :laugha:

"Solid"

ti used to think that was a real put on.. when he'd say that.. his way of saying yes, or good or something..

Guys - this was a funny troll - April Fools Writ Large :hihi:

We've had far worse trolls... "Course I had to explain to the wife that I would not, after all, be going a mile away to look at a potential world record bass :hee:

Someone pulled a big troll like this last year - thought the particulars escape me at the moment

this thread should answer any question as to "why would you kill a 50 or 60# fish". If you claim to have caught it, and it isn't weighed in, I doubt you caught it!

Canalman

Warren... WOW I thought this was the kind of Hoax only #^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^& and piemma would pull... I lost all concentration last night when I got a PHONE CALL about your fish... I had to sit on the couch spouting weight guesses to my girlfriend... she asked me if I was crazy... I just looked at her and trembled... I wonder if that's what it feels like to be in Clammers head??? Warren YOU SHOULD HAVE WEIGHED THE SCULPTURE! :claps: :claps:

Glad I was smart for a chnage and read all the post up to the one where the HOAX was revealed. ha ha friekin ha. Thought it was kind of strange as a regular here didn't have pics of a cow. Thier is no one here that doesn't own a digital camera, no one.
