Woodbuster 11-10-2006, 07:49 PM Hey guys,
I've been spending a lot of time going through the archives and cant believe the wealth of info thats here. Just wanted to say thanks to all who share their ideas with the rest of us!
Also, I'm curious, how many of you guys test out new designs in the middle of Feb? I can see myself with some very cold fingers this winter!!
Karl F 11-10-2006, 08:13 PM Thats what Sunday mornings are for.... :D

numbskull 11-11-2006, 06:39 AM Welcome to the site, by the way. Please post pictures of what you build, it's what makes the world go round.
capesams 11-11-2006, 07:07 AM I play in my bath tub/fish tank/pond when their not covered with ice and when they are I wait for my naba to pop the lid on his hot tub,,with one jet going the plug swims without having to reel it in.
Backbeach Jake 11-11-2006, 07:32 AM The folks at the "Y" hate seeing me poolside in my waders with a bucket of plugs.
Woodbuster 11-11-2006, 10:38 AM I do have a 75 gal saltwater reef tank that has been used for float testing! Not enough room for swim testing. ( My kids would never forgive me if Nemo inhaled a swimmer!) :bl:
spence 11-11-2006, 10:51 AM I'm lucky enough to have a protected dock right down the road. Although, don't ask me times I've nearly slipped in when it was covered in ice :skulz:

eastendlu 11-11-2006, 11:28 AM Use transparent aluminium ,get it from cpt. kirk or scotty.
Canalman 11-11-2006, 11:41 AM The lake behind my house doesn't usually freeze ... but when it does, the westport river doesn't
Pete F. 11-11-2006, 03:27 PM When I worked at a college I had an indoor test facility, (pool) I don't know what I'll do now. In feb. here in VT the only open waters you can find are closed trout waters and I would probably find the only assistant warden that thought I could actually catch a trout on a six inch plug.
Tagger 11-11-2006, 04:24 PM I'm down the icey banks of the canal all winter either saturday or sunday morning .. I'm hardly ever there during the fishing season . also boston harbor mornings before work ..
Backbeach Jake 11-11-2006, 05:13 PM Use transparent aluminium ,get it from cpt. kirk or scotty.
