I had a SMALL section of wood left ,after I cut what I wanted. so I decided to try something DIFFERENT. SQUID dont have a ClUE how it will swim. I did WEIGHT it. BUT havent tried to see how it will SWIM.
again just playing around. any one ever done any. or have a better Ideaaaa. if it swimm ok I thing Ill do a few in DIFFERENT COLORS.
SIZE body-->1" ROUND 2"LONG total 8"

Weight it enough to sink and you'll have a jig you can retrieve slowly. Should work just fine. Sorta like a big fly that pushes water.

Almost reminds me of those Danny Pichney's Tobias showed .. Doesn't look exactly the same but kinda same idea ... what to do with the little pieces..

AKE G, thats GREAT, Ill have to do some of thoes, as for the LOOOONG feathers Ill keep them for my FLATWINGS an use left-overs for the PLUGS.

It's a great excuse to mix flytying w/plug making...I weighed this one so it sinks slowly @ nearly a 30 degree angle. Seemed a more natural presentation (horizontal)than tail first descent.I'm still working on perfecting this one.
