is supposedly targeting the stock exchange computers

and if successful could knock allot of websites off-line.
including S-B

it's probably all crap....but perhaps a back up plan
for S-B "should be" considered.....



just a thought..... cuz goin cold turkey is not an option.

I think their plan might just backfire...

If S-B.com went down for an extended period, individual worker productivity throughout most of New England would skyrocket :hee:

S-B is not a big enough operation to afford redundant mirrored servers geographically seperated for optimum fault tolerance. I do have a fairly fault tolerant box with backups but that is about as good as I can do with my budeget. Besides, my server is in Chicago (used to be in Dallas) .

In firewall logs we see a lot of bad traffic coming in from China.

that's only the tip of the iceberg i'm afraid....and the cyber war really hasn't begun...although theres more hackers coming online
each and every day...especially from china..
