Went out Sat evening and after 2+ hours of trolling Nebraska Shoal and Charlestown we landed only one 24-25" bass.
Sunday morning did the same trip and landed only one bluefish to 8lbs.
I think the storm we had Fri-Sat really pushed the fish out..

We went out sunday and only caught two small bass 26 & 30 inches around Pt. Judith light, and some small fluke off charlestown beach. I was excited after Scotch Bonnets report from last week but the keeper fluke just didn't seem to be there. I only caught 4 shorts, under 14" and I didn't see any big one's being caught by the boats around me. Hrmm... Maybe next weekend.

I went out staurday and Sunday just for Fluke....caught 4 keepers on saturday and 2 on Sunday.
I had loads of throw backs. Was fishing off Atlantic beach in 45-65 ft.
I must of thrown back about 10 16.5inch fluke on Sunday. Now tell me this. Honestly. Who obeys the new 18 inch rule? I saw loads of small fish going into bats and few coming out. Back at the dock a guy was filleting for awhile while I cleaned the boat. Watched him for a bit when I was done and he cut up two, no more than 10" to 12".
If no one is playing by the rules, why the hell should I.
By the way, lost an absolute monster , must have been 10lbs+...my 9 yr old works the net, and he said he had, and well, no go. No yelling on father's day.....
They were hitting rigs with a slice of squid and a dead minnow. w/o the minnow, nothing.

"Lou", were the party boats out Sunday morning. I was drifting RIGHT next to the Admiral Francis. I figure those guys know where to be and it seemed to pay off.

Hey Scotch, ya I guess I picked the wrong boat. I followed the Seven B's V around for a while, from like... 11-1. Fished out infront of charlestown beach in 40ft then infront of the breachway in about 45. Like I said, just a few shorts. I did catch a bunch of black bass I think... they were completely black, kinda shiny with a little white on the fins. They looked cool at least.
