Lordy, Skippy starts a gay country music thread and the whole freaking site is falling apart :rotf2: :rotf2: :rotf2:
You could also call CMS or Riversend in Old Saybrook, they sometimes have rods built up or on consignment...
But I'd just have them give a broomstick and the money and get Mike to build on for spring :)

i also would be interested if either of those guys aren't.
i'm also looking for a reel to match with one...hmmmmm
I'm getting a rod for Christmas too in the form of a gift certificate to CMS.
Makes it alot easier on everyone and you get a nice custom just the way you want without the feeling of being rushed.

What are the specs and prefered fishing for this rod?

slow-mod action. great all around rod for the rocks. anything 1.5 oz to 4 oz but will throw a 1 oz bomber alright. great eel rod and pencil rod but without being so parabolic (like glass) that it really doesn't have any other uses. IMO the best rod for fishing the stones. if I could only have two rods, it'd be the 1201m and the 1081m (couldn't live with just one).
