I've used a pair for 3 years, I think they're great on bare or slime rocks or if your walking alot you don't have to worry about them slipping off or loosening up. If you fish area's with rocks and heavy weeds you're better off with korkers so about 90% of the time I'm in the chotas

I have the normal felt sole model and they run pretty true for me. Held up for 3 seasons and I almost never remember to rinse em off. I scrapped the bungee laces the first week for boot laces though...

jimmy I have heard good things about them and are ordering a pair my self this year.the fact that you can replace the studs is what I like the best about them, they look well made and should hold up not like the korker boots:yak4:

Get the felt and then screw NIB's snowmobile studs in and I'll bet you'll have a pretty good set of rock crawlers.

Factory Chota studs are marginal at best.

There was a post about waders within the last couple of weeks and I tried to remember this name CHOTA, because Smitty at Rodbuilders said he and several of his customers has been using them and think they are great.

Woodys, fastrac, stud boy take your pic. Buy a 24 pack of carbide tip with lock nuts. Probably find 24 cheap on ebay.

I may actually have extra used studs and nuts if anyone wants some.
