If you are extremely interested in Striper fishing the Kennebec River in September....you are in for a reel treat. Our alewife run is second to known in the world and millions of stripers from all along the east coast flock here to forage on the hundreds of millions of juvenile alewife and shad that are drifting down the river to sea. I suggest you give John Reynolds a call @ 207-657-6717. Or, look him up @ Meadowbrook Guide Service on Maine Guides Online. John is one of the best striper guides on the Kennebec and he is full of great information.
