His band was Missing Persons ,,the one with the chic lead singer.. basic top 40 band .:yak6: The gurl was beautiful and scantily clad .. I never noticed they even had a drummer.. I wasn't crazy about the band ... I think his best work was with Zappa ... Saw a drum battle between Cole and Krupa at the Metropole in NY with both of them behind the bar so close ya could touch them. :hihi: Good times there with all the greats, Satchmo Armstrong, Dave Brubeck, Dizzy Gillespie, Lionel Hampton to name a few.
