austin is worrisome...

...but NYC is no biggie, all that $hit is hitting the West Side from New Jersey ('nuff said).

yea Ben it may not be related but it makes you wonder when stuff like that happens so close together. I guess they've got hundreds of dead birds in a whole area down there and no clue what killed them.

scott,

the timing is worrisome, but mayor bloomberg just indicated that there was a small gas leak in the village, and it's nothing more than that.

If you break it down it would show (for example) an Al Queda signature to launch simultaneous attacks. On the other hand with soooooo much possibilities across a nation of 300 million people, the odds two items like this could occur naturally and coincidentally.

But - honor the threat and dig out the source :rocketem:
(or send WeeWee in with his arsenal)

Hmmmmm , let's see
bassmaster called me on his way home from NY a few days ago.
put 2 and 2 together and maybe that's a reason for a gaseous cloud capable of destruction:skulz: :err:

Probably a parking garage in the area put out poison to control the bird poop on customers cars. The birds on the street are the birds that didn't die instantaneoulsy inside the parking garage from eating the poison, and flew a short distance before flopping..............................I would bet on it.

As far as the smell in NY, when did the Jets and Giants planes land?

Jeeez ya think the Audubon people will investigate and blame us beach buggy bums for using the beach somewhere, causing the bird killing?? Good thing they weren't plovers.:skulz:

I had a close friend who was raising fancy pigeons.
He had an influx of wild pigeons raiding his coops through the return flying doors and they were eating all the feed and crossbreeding with his fancys.
One day he put all his fancy birds in a separate cage and put decon rat poison in the feed.
A week later he went to the local church for mass and the priest (who knew he raised pigeons) was talking to my friend and a pigeon fell from the roof dead in the bushes. The priest asked my friend about them falling from the church roof dead and what could be the cause. My friend just chuckled and said they were coming to church to die.

True story!:biglaugh: :biglaugh:
