What's the differance between it and 21?Apparently quite a bit.
I've been following this whole breathylizer/addmitance to the prom deal.
Why is it a 17 year old boy/man can kill another human with an M16 or be killed himself by an AK-47 but that same man/boy can't drink a beer?And if he does can't dance with a girl he might want to hump before he heads to Iraq?
An 18 year old can POSSIBLY spend his natural life in jail for killing someone for DWI/death resulting but the same 17 year old only gets probation or at worst juvey till 21?
I'll tell ya its $$$.Liability in this country has replaced responsibilty.
Its time to standardize the age with which a person is considered an adult.Either its 17 or its 21 or a fixed number in between.I say 19 should be the age,if you're any older at graduation than you should've tried harder in school.
Liability and money should not be the determining factor for what is considered "adult".
