i got a little digital scale from harbor freight.. about 8 bucks i think

I use the scale at work. you should have see the LOOKS I got when I first brought in some wood. then weight ,an hooks. then I brought them back after they were together an painted. re-weight , now everyone there thinks it COOL:bl:

In thinking about it, a postal scale would prolly be more accurate. :huh:

I got fancy. I drilled a hole in the middle of a stick and tied some line to either end. I put the plug on one end and sinkers on the other until it balances out. Then I add up the numbers on the sinkers. I busted my last scale(knocked it off the table) and didn't feel like buying another.

And how do you know the sinkers are right? Most are marked, but the weight is approximate.

My wife gave up measuring food for her diet, (eaiser to eat and complain ) sooo I scoffed her nice little digi scale to weigh pluggage and weights for pluggage....
