This game is gonna make me just as nervous as the SD game, given the recent history of losses to Indy and the fact that we took a physical beating this week. But that being said, IN BILL WE TRUST (and TOM too)

Pats 31 Indy 27

THE Patriots will tweak out a win somehow....

hurt players will suck it up... even Bruschi is back making

crucial plays.... the coach knows his rules...

better than the refs...

You guys are starting to sound like SD fans last week, when they were planning their SB parade before their first game.

I know you think you "own" Manning and the Colts, and maybe you do, but remember that even a blind squirrel occasionally finds its nuts ;)

And unlike his kid brother :rollem:, Peyton may actually own a pair.

the thing that gives indy a chance in my book is that they respect the patriots, maybe a little fear also. unlike sd......maybe we could send them a replica trophy....

There's a couple of things that are in Indy's favor.

They are at Home.....Finally
They aren't going to take the Pats lightly.....unlike a certain southern California team.
And they have a certain kicker that can come through when its a close game.

That being said I'm not yet ready to sing the praises of the Indy Defense just yet. Yeah they looked good the past 2 games but they were playing some pretty one-dimensional offenses. Its a lot easier to look good when you only have to focus on shutting down one aspect of the game.

We have a couple of good running backs AND with Gaffney and Caldwell starting to play well w/ Brady makes for a more well rounded offense.

Don't forget we also had the #2 Defense (points Allowed) this season.

Should be another White Knuckler this weekend...

I'm not sold on Indy's D... The cheifs were toothles, and shouldnt have been in the Playoffs anyway..

the Ravens, although tough on Defence, just coluldnt move the ball.... the Colts stacked 8 and 9 men in the box and dared the Chiefs and Ravens to run the ball... both teams, lacking a serious passing game were stubborn enough to think they could.... the Pats wont be so stupid..

Freeny does scare me, he owns Matt light and is very much like Jason Taylor with his spin move..

On offence , they wont run the ball well against the Pats front line, but I am concerned with the secondary of the Pats being exploited by Manning and Harrison... wish we still had ty Law!

That said, I think the Pats will run the ball well enough to open up some play action, maybe Get Marroni and Dillon into the action and get a few bombs down field to Caldwell and Gaffney...

The Colts dont hit as hard as the last three teams the Pats have faced, but they have great speed, after all that... I like the Pats by 10 in a high scoring thriller.....( If it's close, old # 4 scares me!)

Peyton Manning was on the radio in Indy pleading with Colts fans not to sell their tickets to Patriots fans. He doesn't want them to take over the stadium. :bl: Shouldn't he be watching film or on the training table rather than worrying about Patriots fans? This could be fun to watch. This is a MUCH better matchup right now for the Patriots than San Diego. We dodged a bullet out west, but I like the Pats in Indy this weekend.

I am certainly NOT a colts fan, but I always say "Any team can win any game at any time".

Our boys proved that last weekend.

So its up for grabs, but it promises to be a great game.
I have no fingernails left to bite !!!!!!!

GO PATS !!!!!!

Remember the Ravens had the number 1 defense and held the colys to just field goals, the Pats were number 2 defense. The score will be kept down, Peyton will choke. Gostkowski will win this game also :D
Just because they beat us earlier this year at our house, doesn't mean they can beat us in the playoffs. Winner goes to the big dance, may the best team win :D the Patriots!

Luck is the residue of success

Anybody hear the whiner line on EEI last evening? a caller called in and it went something like " Bill Bellichick, this is Peyton mannings head... your room is ready!" thought it was funny....

Van, I hear ya on the finger nails, I was trying to apply a tail wrap to a plug last night and I noticed my thumb was sesitive and bleeding, chewed down to raw meat!

The Pats passing game is much better now than it was in November.. I feel it should be the edge they need...

I predict that Samuel picks peyton once, maybe twice. I think if we can get a decent lead 7-10 points, and keep it we will be ok.

What's the point of wearing all those pads, if you can't hit someone, Polian you baby..

Leavy's the same guy who did the Super Bowl last year.

Probably the worst officiated SB ever.

Let's see if they flag Troy Brown for unsportsmanlike conduct like they did back in the November game    What a BS call that was...

yep, I was right there and i couldn't believe that one. I had to check the tape for that as soon as I got home. WTF that ref was programmed for any little thing, common sense doesn't matter to those robots:huh:
He was just tossing the ball back to the side judge and the other played walked into it:doh:

Gonna be a great game for sure. I know Brady will have a good game this week, but Manning will also, so it's gonna be a battle.

I don't know what his problem is--the Colts get more calls than any other team in the League.

Exhibit A--probably the worst call in the last 5 seasons--Polamalu's "non-interception" interception in last year's AFC title game. If the Steelers wound up losing, it would be right up there with Ben Dreith's phantom roughing the passer call on Hamilton years ago.

I see the Pats trying to establishing the lead followed by the run. Pats need to get their running game more involed. I think if they do they take this game. The one thing Brady has now is the confidence thats been built in the last 4 games with his wideouts. If redtone D keeps them to 3 (they've been very good at) we'll see Harrison go Bear hunting.
