A few new ones just for fun. I really enjoy making the Nikes and I love the way swim (at least the way last year's batch swam)

Thanks for the nice comments. I do have a nice DSLR camera and lens. These were taken with a 200 mm zoom lens from about 6 feet away, but the real challenge is to get good lighting. Here is a link to one cheap approach:

You can light with anything. I use a shop light and/or my camera flash. If you do use the fluorescent shop light or other incandescent bulb, try to set your camera's white balance to "incandescent" if possible. Without the ability to adjust white balance, the picture might come out a bit yellow, but you probably can make it white with the photo editing software that comes with your camera. In my case, I use the white eye dropper tool and select the should-be-white background and it converts it to white. The other colors also come out pretty well after this single adjustment.

This is the actual light box system that I used on these pictures:

I used a white plastic table cloth from the dollar store to make the sides (i.e., diffusers) and white printer paper on the inside. For the white lure I put down a piece of yellow construction paper. At that point it's all trial and error.

I hope this was helpful.
