Hi all,

I'm new to the plug building world, so I thought I would join this forum to get some new ideas and hopefully be able to share some as well. I'm kinda doing this the old school way, I was given some white birch dowels of various sizes and I have been basically whittling the basic shapes. I hope to get set up with turning equipment in the future so I can make more. Thanks for all the info so far, this place has a lot of information and I have a lot more to learn!

thanks, and will hopefully have some pics soon.

welcome dude

just a little help for ya if you dont have a drill press you can also try screwing a screw in the end of the blank and puting the other end in a cordless drill and use some sand paper for shapeing as i did when i first started.

than i got a drill press and use that till this day "poor mans lathe"
