View Full Version : Boston Boat Show You Going?
blaruffa 02-12-2007, 05:15 PM Just thought I'd let you all know I saw a steady stream of boats on their way up the SE expressway this afternoon all heading for the boat show.
I am hoping to go next week to look around, going to look at electronics, and safety gear. No new boat for me.
:jump:

I'd like to go and look at the extras. I finally don't need a boat anymore :kewl:
Hoping to get to the Miami show this weekend. It would be fun to drool on some of those rides.

blaruffa 02-13-2007, 08:05 AM blue oyster. There is valet parking at the Center, and there are a bunch of lots between Summer and Congress for the center as well. PLus there is always the T Silver Line to World Trade Center. I am over in that area a lot.
capecodder 02-13-2007, 09:13 AM I'll be there. Scoping out 30' ish WA and Express for next year purchase. I like to take my kids (2 & 6) one day, let them crawl all around. Great way to spend 3-4 hrs in the winter. spend most of the time on bigger cabin boats for them to crawl around.
Then I go again with a couple friends to seriously look ...:buds:
thefishingfreak 02-13-2007, 12:18 PM i'm not allowed to go :hidin:
Moses 02-13-2007, 12:23 PM I'll be there, mostly likely thurs afternoon/night with a few friends from work....
BassyiusMaximus 02-13-2007, 12:43 PM I'm going to try to go one of these days. With big snow coming I'll have to head north and ride the snowmobile however if there is a free day as the show runs from Friday to Saturday, I'm going to try and get there. I love these things, especially in the dead of winter and I just love boats in general.
I think if I did not do what I do, I would definitely work on boats.
Uncle Matt 02-13-2007, 01:12 PM Remember folks the show runs during school vacation week. Don't forget to bring the little ones and plan accordingly.
keeperreaper 02-13-2007, 03:24 PM I'll be there to look real close at a few boats. Might pull the trigger next year but still a great way to kill a day.
chubsdad 02-13-2007, 03:41 PM in the state of mass you can get a permit to tow a wide boat for 15.00 its good for five days . and its only good in mass. i looked into this when we were towing the AVE,MARIA down to virgina there is no hour or day restriction in mass just have to get permit . if you want. or take your chances . and hope lucks on your side (right ron)
missing link 02-13-2007, 06:15 PM Going sunday ,hopefully Boston Whaler will put out another BIG FEED like in previous years. I'm not looking to buy and I'v been in all the BIG $$$$$$$$$$$$$ boats I really like the 19' to 25' fish boats, and get lots of reading material.

fish4striper 02-14-2007, 01:21 PM I'll be in Roxbury for a track meet Sunday so I'm gonna go to look at electronics. Is parking an issue at this place?

hunan 02-15-2007, 11:07 PM one of my co-workers painted the stalls in the lot and i believe he said it has like 1000 parking spaces. i've been there all week installing signs in the lot and underneath the bcec. i don't think i've ever been that cold for that long in my life! if you see the crooked stop sign, it wasn't me.saw all the boats already for free so maybe i'll find something else to do. enjoy.
thefishingfreak 02-16-2007, 07:48 AM go north past the lot/expo, about 500 yards on the right there's a beach with about 30 or so free parking spaces.
it's a little walk, but it's a free walk :boots:
fish4striper 02-16-2007, 07:51 AM Thanks Mike
