thanks for all the info on the bait to use and tides and times for these smart fish i went to nantasket beach and caught a 25 inch striper not a keeper but enough to keep me in the game i was using clams and fishing the incoming tide bang there she was i carefully measured her and removed the circle hook from her lip said thanks and let her go and had a feeling i was doing something right so thanks for the info and maybe some day ill catch a keeper

Beachin - it's a start :btu: and it will get better as time progresses. That area is OK til late August then it gets hot. Probably the best places to be are at the north end and south end (I prefer the south)...
The keepers will come in time. Very few people are overnight angling phenoms so your time will come.

Good job beachin, I fished the area around the resteraunt on the outgoing on friday night. Not even a tickle, tried the gut , and looked for access area at PT. Allerton but could'nt find it. :(
