I guess Tom's not the greatest role model after all!
Just saw the NECN new and they say Tom is going to be a dad, by ex girlfriend !

I'm not saying he's Dave Megett who had kids all over the place from all different women, but a baby - not married to the mother = bastard !!

I'd tread a little lightly on that subject matter......and thats a little 19th century way of thinking...don't you think.

Can happen to ANYBODY

In some ways yeah....

But I wouldn't want to put the "Bastard" tag on a kid just cause his parents aren't married. Bad Stigma all the way around.

Like I said it could happen to anybody......

Friggen media...they even used the word, 'rumor'... and this is worthy of new coverage???? Some of the chit on cable, those reality shows about rich sixteen year olds, cat fights, and movies like Jackass Two...is it any wonder why it's such a test to raise kids these days? The power of the media is unbelievable and is adversely affecting the perceived 'reality' of our children....:realmad:

By my (actually my wife's) ciphering, his seed would have had to be planted pretty close to when they broke up. Imagine that, the last time he throws one in her, it sticks. I bet this is news to him as well.

judge not...

OK - that would make her my dream girl :hihi: - D.D.G., Semi-Rich (-A / B+ Celeb List), Mass Roots, Sexy, did I mention D.D.G., and likes to "experiment". :hihi:

I think these days it is more important that both parents parent their kid - together or not. Too many cases of people being bad parents together to go and draw the line on just whether or not the baby is born in wedlock or not.

Jesus & God are supposed to love the children regardless, right? Don't affix an unnecessary stigma to the kid that he had no choice on....

Not a Patriot fan by any means but consider Brady the best Q.B. their is right now. None of that really matters what does matter is that he steps up and supports this child. ( if it's his ) and I think he will.

As long as it dosn't distract his on the field performance and he does the right thing and support mom and child who cares. Look at Coach B...would you think he was a cheater(off the field)? No one is perfect.

Far be it for me to think this through but wasn't he in a funk for a few weeks about a month after they broke up. Maybe he found out then ?? She is going to know she's pregnant much earlier than when she announced to the world...

Maybe I am being judge mental , but
Think about all the young boys who idolize Tom, and up until now, he had been one of the greatest role models going, says all the right things, is very humble, dosen't get into trouble with the law (like most of the Bengals ) gives all the credit to his team mates for the teams success (unlike T.O.) ect......
Maybe if teenage boys see that it's accepted that Tom does this, then they can also!
As far as me never had an accident in my life, what exactly do you mean by that ??? if it's, fathered any kids before I got married, do drugs, smoke, drink, been divorced, ect... NO ,never ,accept a beer once in a great while !
My wife and I take raising our 3 kids very serious, and the society we live in today makes it very tough for us !

I truly respect your attitude towards your children.... I think if more people were like that we wouldn't have as many prescriptions for ritalin in society, we wouldnt have as many kids breaking school windows every week for fun (long story) but the fact is, this child was obviously a mistake....would you rather they abort the baby? Ive had a few friends have children outside of marriage and I wouldnt think them any less capable of raising a child because there isn't a piece of paper that says they are married.

This kid is going to have more opportunities than any of us will ever be afforded.. AND his dad is one of the greatest qb's of all time!

I'd be ok with that.

Just think your being a little rough on the guy.
