This boat was bought last year with the intent that we were going to use it trolling a good amount...we only used it 14 times and only once did we get out past 15 miles...and everyone knows thats what these boats were built for...offshore trolling and riding through snotty conditions. Any questions please feel free to contact me. We are currently looking to downsize to a 20-22 new cc but must sell this first.

taJon 02-27-2007, 03:22 PM I love those boats. good luck with the sale.
how are those hyundias?
capemaychef 02-27-2007, 04:26 PM we love the boat too...but we just didn't use it nearly enough...nor for it's intended purpose(trolling in the deep)....need a boat that let us fish the back bays as well as the rips on a drift and perhaps out to 20 miles.
Hyundias?
taJon 02-28-2007, 07:45 AM sorry, I saw the "H" on the motor and it reminded me of the hyundia symbol. Maybe I should have read the details a little closer.
good luck.
RIROCKHOUND 02-28-2007, 07:48 AM Great hull.
Would be a gem w/ diesel.
What are you burning GPH @cruise (what speed)? 25GPH?

We never figured that part out,...since we only used her 14 times this past summer....we cruised around at 28...I can tell you this though...diesel is obviously the best choice(but you won't find a diesel in this condition for that money)...but for someone who can't afford diesel...this set-up right here is the best gas set-up you could possibly have, with the best gas engines matched up to the best outdrives in being volvo...like I said we only used it 14 times...and their isn't a flo-scan type gauge on it. It's range is somewhere between 300-325 miles.(we were told this)
RIROCKHOUND 02-28-2007, 11:47 AM OK.
Just curious.
300Mi on 200Gal of gas is 1.5mpg. At 28kts that would be ~20GPH
capemaychef 02-28-2007, 11:51 AM gotcha...those are the numbers I remember being told...but I didn't want to come on here saying that incase I was incorrect.

capemaychef 12-19-2007, 10:39 AM man u tempted me toooooo many times over the summer.... shes back again!
Yes sir...she is back:) Now the price is 10k less at $45,000...Boat is in execellent condition...I will be having my survey updated from Jan 06 when we bought her. We haven't used her too much so it shouldn't change too much. Here is a chance to get ahold of a great offshore running, keep you warm boat during the chilly months....
RIROCKHOUND 12-19-2007, 11:19 AM Unfortunately, your trying to sell a gas powered, fairly thirsty boat in a time of high fuel prices. Not fun, and I wish you the best of luck. She's a sweet boat for the right buyer!
capemaychef 12-20-2007, 12:35 AM ....I know what we are facing but in all honesty....there are far worse gas guzzlers out there...
