heading out to the islands tommorrow morning. been skunked the past two weekends (stripers that is). i usualy get there an hour before sunrise. any suggestions at to what my approach should be. i've tried tube & worm, 9'ers and also drifted with herring. i'm picking up huge doormats with the herring but still no stripers. can someone lend some heplful advice........

Seriously, get an eldridge current chart to see what's going to happen at what time and tide. I've only been there once so I'm not the one to tell you where or what to do but half the battle is knowing what conditions you'll face when you are there....
