I am so sick to death of everything going on this last couple weeks anyone wanting to do business for yourself if you cant do it yourself dont do it! Between Gas, permits, insurance and Drivers god Im sick of the nickel diming that goes on with this Gas going up daily,PERMITS, heres one I get a state inspection, then a DOT inspection then they tell me I need a DTE inspection WTF how many inspections do you need! then you have a driver that wanted to be paid cash I paid a check he uses workers Comp as a way to get even called them, now Im under investigation, I need a policy by Tuesday, Insurance hits me with a $4400.00 bill by the 12th or my insurance is canceled Hmmm pressure during the slowest time of the year Im smoking 2 packs a day cause i cant eat anymore. whats a small businessman supposed to do its hostile out there towards us I need some advise on someone who uses state agencies to get even he was a pure IC can I do anything for him doing that

I've been plowing snow since 1985, and this has been BY FAR been the worst winter I've ever had !!!:uhoh:

can have you insured in 1/2 an hour or less

I know the feeling. I have 30+ on my payroll, 8 of which are PT. My Healthcare/dental insurance bill is $4000.00 plus per month, we pay 68% of the premium. My business insurance excluding workers comp and auto ((2) 24’ trucks and 1 van) is $28k/yr. Add to that DOT “fees and inspections and insurance on those vehicles, as well as the driver certificates/licenses costs, it is F’ing nuts. Our WC/SSI contribution is astronomical. Coupled w/ commercial property tax, Inventory tax as well as a number of other “permits”, our burden is overwhelming. I do not have the answer. I think I am (we are all) on the other side of the “system”.
I guess I am not smart enough to “work the system”
