Where is a good place to get a slip for my boat, I want something as cheap as possible. The boat is a 18' Starcraft.

Mom and Dad live right on the water in N. Weymouth, I believe they have mooring rights, but heard I need a permit and the water there can get rough during storms. Any advice appreciated. Thanks.
