I thought a few months back they said eating fish a few times a week was all right. I have been and I talk to the chef in our company cafeteria about different ways to prepare it. Today he gives me a pamphlet and set out a box of them for anyone to take. Called Seafood Watch - Central US Seafood Guide 2007. Lists the Best Choices, Good Alternatives, and what to Avoid. You have to really know your fish, Pacific or Atlantic, Farmed or Wild, Domestic or Imported, Longlined or Troll.Poled.

being in the seafood industry, I am always hearing about (dealing with) the work of the Montery Bay Aquarium.
Some of their assessment is dead on, and some of it is completely wrong.
A lot of times their info is OK, but in reality the ability of the consumer to find out things like if their pacific cod was longline caught vs. trawl caught is next to impossible.
I especially take issue with their views on farm raised salmon...
Bottom Line, Keep eating fish. Please.

Exactly. I'm inherently distrustful of information that comes from a "dot.org" outfit.
