We will be meeting at Herring Run Park on the corner of Broad St. and Commercial St. at around 8:00 am rain, shine or snow. We will be cleaning up trash, cutting brush, and removing debris. Those interested in helping out should dress for work along the river and dress warm. Last year we had 50 volunteers despite the cold and Rain, and removed a lot of material. Once again Dunkin Donuts will provide refreshments. Thanks to everyone who helped out. Unfortunately due to the small numbers of returning Herring over the last few years Massachusetts along with other New England States have stopped all taking of Herring until at least 2009. If you have any questions please call 1-781-749-0189 or e-mail gmloring@verizon.net Thank you, George M. Loring Warden Striper1 04-01-2007, 05:46 AM Thanks for info.
