Figured I'd post this here since I put it up on another board as a response to a question. This is how I store my plugs in my truck. I'd be curious to know how others store theirs. I know this topic has come up before.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I bought 2 extra inserts for my skinz single row bag and made 3 inserts for my double row bag. i do this because i don't like the weight of the double row tubes. i use tennis ball cans duct taped together and punch wholes in the bottom(stole idea from an earlier post by Zeno). two of each fit well into a crate and i keep 1 in each of the plug bags. they are not organized for fishing yet but here is an idea. eventially it will work itself out to a couple night bags and a couple day bags depending on the season.

It's nice because you can pop the different sets of plugs in and out of the bags.

I usually stack that box on top of this one once I start fishing needles. The plano boxes are for finnish swimmers and super strikes. these plugs all work there way into the top crate eventially as poppers and other topwater plugs end up back in the dungeon once I start fishing only at night.

I use tennis ball containers in full sized milk crates.
an plano's in milk crates..
Ihave seperate plano's for bombers(2),redfins,yo-mamma's poppers,an needles(3).They are all them double sized ones..In the tubes I have a crate of bottles, one of metal lips,an one of darters.I use one of them big plano boxes with the dividers to hang metal lip swimmers in.
There could also be any number of crates of rubber with any number of plano's with jig heads in em..
I have a tool box with all the other stuff u need like extra lights, batteries, riggin needles, tape, grease, oil, glue's extra spools, any number of different hooks..an all the tools u need for this or that.I have another box with all my leader material in an hardware. In there is a box of assorted guides an tips..U got to have backups..
Also there is a first aid kit I have had to use a few times..Like last summer when I ripped a 4.5 oz jig into my head..I have cutters in the truck for any hook made..
I also use a day bag an night bag..an a small bag..

Whats amazing is I was fishing this spot in the canal an had company every time there exept when This happend..
I was able to clean it up kinda close it an get back out there in short time.
A good first aid kit is imperative along with a few bottles of hydrogen Peroxide. They are only 1.29 per bottle..
People die from infection everyday...
