You get the 4x4 pass at Burlingame State Park which is off Rte 1 in Charlestown, you'll see the signs. You need the standard beach equipment: tow rope, jack, board, tire guage, etc. Make sure you have your vehicle registered and insurance, they check those when you get the pass, you also need the vehicle that you are getting the pass for at that time.

Hey John - Driving on the beach opened up last Friday on the 15th. The price of the pass is only $50.
