i'm surprised he held his tongue this long. one very good year and he wants to get paid like he's going to canton...he's good, but he ain't a shutdown corner.

i disagree...he is worth much more to us than his present salary.

isn't there a way to write to the patriots management and say

hey WTF are you crazy! pay him more

...he gets three interceptions per game just about
....not to mention stopping passes. :hs:

this reminds me of loosing branch....

dump that ball dropping
bug eyed sorry excuse for a reciever - whats his name!
and pay him his salary.... instead

I say pay the man.
We don't need to be looking for a proven corner now.
Too many other issues to address.....
IMHO he deserves to get paid more, he is in his prime right now and his career could end with the twist of an ankle at anytime..Get it while you can is what I say.
Pay him!!!

3 interceptions per game! They should pay him 75 million a year. That must be some sorta record.

hmmmm... 3 interceptions a game?:conf: let's see he played 19 games this past year, he should of had 57 interceptions then? he's got a total of 16 in the 4 years he's played. not counting playoffs...the last two years he had a total of 4 before this breakout year. show me consistency.... why is it every player ALWAYS has a break-out year in the final year of their contract? and why no serious bidders? because he's not worth two first round picks.:humpty: i love the patriots,,,,,, well run organization, if it ain't broke, don't.....

It takes him the first three games of the season to get up to speed. He hasn't figured out yet that he is supposed to have right by the first game.

chit, have you guys done the math?

6 million= $115,384 a week for a 52 week year.....=$23076.80 per day (5 day work week)... =2884.60 per hour (8 hour day)

6 million= $375,000 per game (16 games/16 paychecks)

The money in pro sports is still outta whack. And I'm a sports fan, but it's been all f'd up.

Now take a good look at YOUR paycheck... I know plenty of talented, hard working folks who are struggling. And this guy has an attitude! F' him.

The Pats are any player's best chance at a SuperBowl and a trip to Canton these days. I wish that they would all just realize that fact, shutup and play ball. A lot of non-champions have played for the money. Champions play for glory and pride.

I heard on D+C that the Redskins want to trade for him?
I would do it for the number 6 pick.
