is $25.00 per yard

everyone is looking for that certain color , and it always fades....

eventually it makes the soil to acid and ruins the PH over time

unless your mulching something like blueberry bushes
that thrive in acid soil.... ect.

each year more mulch added.... it takes (robs) nitrogen from the soil
to assist in it breaking down... use a PH meter for testing the soil
underneath your mulch...if plantings look bad... sweeten too acid soil
with wood ashes...are mild...or lime...is strong ...so use it sparingly.

You all saw that trailer jackknife rollover on 128 last week. It was loaded with 55 gallon drums of red dye used to treat bark mulch.

Even the dark brown finely chopped mulch was only $30.00 a yard when I checked.

A friend of mine, #^&#^&#^&#^& Pierce, sells it to all the nurseries in southeastern Mass. from the Andrews & Pierce Truck depot on rte. 18 in Abington. Not that he controls it in this area, but well I guess he does. He probably sold it to the guy who trucked it to the vineyard.
