Mr. Kav 07-24-2002, 09:17 AM nice picture, hard core fishing boat !!! i want a picture of mine on the water as well. hey van one of these days we should meet up on the water and swap cameras to take pictures. Van 07-24-2002, 09:43 AM Sounds like a plan. I got a digital so its easy to e-mail pics. My buddy has taken some shots of mine on the water but they didn't come out well. Lets do it. 179: whats the top speed with that 4 stroker?? Well equipped rig even have radar !!!!:D 179 07-24-2002, 10:20 AM Van, The speed is tough to tell but on my Garmin GPS it reads about 37mph, on the Garmin FishFinder it reads 44-45mph at 5800rpms. It's plenty fast enough for me... If you guys are out on the water in the PJ area get on the radio, I always carry the digital, and can snap some pics of your boat for you then e-mail them. I took shots of Saucey and Charger's boats this weekend also.... Van 07-24-2002, 10:36 AM GPS are typically much more accurate than paddle wheels. We have tested some for a client who is introducing a new speedometer products for the jet ski and windsurf industries. I get about 38-40 mph with my 175 ficht OB, on a 21' proline WA. Also plenty fast enough...... Thanks for the offer, but I don't fish down that way, boat is moored in Boston area and the furthest Soouth I go is the cape. V Homerun04 07-24-2002, 12:41 PM ....and vice versa......thanks 179. Anyone know of a good place to get an aluminum t-top with rocket launcher built for a Whaler? My next move, I think..... Clammer 07-24-2002, 04:31 PM both are nice rigs ENJOY vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2025, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
