Any thoughts on this type of hull. They supposedly ride better than any mono hull out on the market just ugly. I'm going to test ride one and if they are as good as everyone says might pull the trigger in the fall on a 27.

I'm sure they have a smooth ride but now your talking twin motors, plus the hassle of trailering or the cost of a slip. Maintenance costs are doubled and the cost of gas keeps skyrocketing. Those reasons kept me from actually pulling the trigger.

What 27 are you looking at?

Possibly a world cat. I'm going to run that one for a sea trial. Maybe a prokat if they make a 27 or a 26. A friend has one and loves it. I havent decided which cat yet but it will be the one most offshore friendly. You sell the Parker yet?

It sure would be nice to cut right through that afternoon chop coming home from the offshore grounds instead getting the fillings knocked out . Plus the fishing partner is getting old and has a bad back so it will increase his outings and enjoyment.

not that im bias but ive had a bay cat for about 30 hrs now. compared to my last bay boat ( i know your thinking bigger) it handles slop like no other. there are people that think the area in between the two sponsons causes too much noise when trying to be stealthy but i havent had that experience yet.

take the sea trail that's what sold me.

sea trial the WC and you will buy it, i did. 246 SF with twin 140s. only 12 GPH total at almost full speed.
