I had a few fence posts break in that wind storm we had so 2 or 3 sections of fence were laying down. As you know, I'm recovering from back surgery so I'm pretty much useless for a while. Well the fence had to be fixed so the dog can't get out. I ask my wife and son to go out there and see if they can rig it up temporarily until I can get back on my feet to fix it. Well after about a half hour or so, I decide to hobble out to the deck so I can see how they're doing. Well, I know she meant well, but my wife managed to tie up the fence with my brand new roll of CORK TAPE!!!!! Ya know, the rod building stuff....WTF!!:realmad:

omfg,

Dave, if you want, I would be willing to come down and lend a hand...
Can I nail it back in place with some SIC guides?

Building Codes clearly state for the use of High Frame Hardloy. SIC is too brittle for use as a fence securing fastener... Unless it is ultra-light weight PVC fencing

Personally, I think she would have been better off using my Rod bond and Aftcote.:zup:

This brings back memories -- I had my back done years ago and STILL remember the frustration of having my wife and at that time young kids trying to do my work. I learned to take the offer of help from friends to keep my sanity, but do laugh heartily at your situation. Keep us posted, but don't let her work on the vehicles.:pop:

At least I'm not the only one..:tooth: I think they are realizing now all the things I do that they never see. Maybe I'll be appreciated more....But maybe not..:laugha:

Sorry Dave, but I got a chuckle out of that too. Atleast she didn't use any of the blanks as sticks to prop the fence back up :pop:
