Headed way out of my way to one of my honey holes in CT on my way to the Cape to get my ORV. I know this place is super productive if U have live bait. Anyway, chit was too blown out @ here to catch any dace or pond shinees. Yesterday, on my way to the Cape, I says to my self WTF, I'll give it a shot anyway. Threw some asassins and poppers, no love. However, when fishing an assassin I did catch a snag and had to break off. This is when the story starts getting good. I left, headed to the Cape, got my ORV, got drunk, slept, and decided I'd drive way the hell out of the way to give my Spring honey holes one more shot in CT. To make a long story short, I hit a few spots with no luck. I decided to hit my super secret hole #2. Here is this kid and his buddy walkin out with a couple keepers that they caught on live dace. I says, "good job honkies!" The kid says, "I cuaght a few yesterday too. Check out what this one had it's belly" He held out his hand, and he had about 4 shad bodies with jig heads. Guess what? One of em was a Bassassassin snipped and super glued with 3/4 oz kalin jig heads. Basstard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, kind of a hit and run mission. I forgot your # at home like a dumb a$$ anyway. We'll be pounding the sand soon enough. I'll start coming down weekly on Memorial Day.

Hey Pops, I was 608 on 4/13. They're moving slow, and the beach was only partially open due to the storm - maybe 3/4 of a mile to the north, and they did open the back to #8.
