would these work stand up for small tuna.say matched to a 9/0 penn?

If I remember right ?????? a 9/0 holds about 675 yds/50lb., which is right in the middle of what the rod is rated for.

These rods are rated for 30 - 80# line. So if you're running 100# test line there might be a problem.

How old are these rods?

I believe I bought them 2 years ago, 3 at the most. I don't think I used them 3 - 4 times
Found out I didn't like using wire.

My earlier post referenced "wire". These rods never had wire on them. It's my other ad for the wire rods I was thinking of.

How do you think some penn 30tw would fit on them? Any pics?
