Last night my wife tells me she has to entertain doctors at the company's luxury box at Fenway the 3rd of June. She is not a sports fan and always ask's me to come along, I know a tough job but someone has to do it. So I ask her who they playin. She say's Yankmee's, I say great, she usually doesn't get games with the big names. Now with Roger coming back there could be a good chance he may be pitching one of those games in the 3 game series. I'm excited. I will have to practice my boooing. P.

All that was said above about the advantages of being a Red Sox plus he could have won 1 game in a Sox uniform and become the winningest all time Red Sox pitcher, passing Cy Young. We know how big his ego is so that should have enticed him.:yak6: Maybe it's just that the Sox are not stupid enough to throw that kinda money at a 44 year old part time player. you know...i think booing shows that we might have cared but are diappointed with his decision. Would it not be better for the stadium to just be silent when they announce him? Would that make more of a statement? Completely indifferent if you will...
