Is that a hole in the roof of your truck? How the h#ll will that get fixed?
More likely that it bounced off of the trash truck, however. It looks like some kind of angle bracket that might be on a dumpster.

Could have been kicked up into the air by the truck...be thankful, that debris can carry a lot of force at 60+ mph.

When I saw the title to this thread I was thinking of wading during a May or June moon when the horseshoe crabs try to mate with your wader boots.
Still get shocked when it is absolutely quiet out at night, senses dialed up to the maximum, when a billion year old crab tries to do it with your boot...
